The Internet sting. Law enforcement officers have learned that it is relatively easy to lure people into committing a sexual crime, and that sexual cases are politically popular to prosecute and very unpopular to defend.
The undercover police will often lure unsuspecting adults into conversations thinking and then gradually introduce incriminating facts such as being under the age of 18 or, if the penalties are greater, under the age of 15. The deception can include the officer lying about their identity and sending photographs of other people or even other adults all in attempt to keep the conversation going.
Internet sting operations are just one of many sex sting operations that occur throughout the country. Everyone from politicians to music stars to ordinary citizens is at risk of being snared.
These are future registrants that are, basically, being "Created" by Illegal law enforcement stings. Not one of the 18 men arrested in this sting are on the Florida registry.. but might now be..even though no minor was harmed, touched by nor had verbal communication with any of these men.
All these men are Innocent until being coerced into pleading guilty in exchange for a shorter sentence or being judged guilty by a jury of those groomed by our society.

Before Green Shepherd V got underway, sheriff’s office detectives assisted the Stoud Area Regional Police Department in Pennsylvania with an investigation that resulted in the arrest of a Bradenton man for similar offenses.
Loren Labrador, 31, was arrested July 18 in Manatee County and charged with 16 counts of sexual offenses that include unlawful contact with a minor and sexual assault. Detectives say Labrador met the victim online when the girl was 14 years old and traveled to Pennsylvania at least three times to meet with the now 16-year-old girl.
On July 26, Labrador was taken from the Manatee County jail to be transported to Pennsylvania to face charges.
