Women Against Registry Family
First the directors want to say thank you for your support and encouragement as we educate the public, who has been groomed to believe the registry is a must have. We, on the other hand, promote getting ahead of children being harmed when schools and parents partner with organizations such as Stop it Now.
As you know we have a moratorium underway to change the derogatory terms used to identify individuals and families. Thank you to the ladies who have stepped up to help gather information to enable us to blanket the states with the American Psychological Association (APA) literature. Some may think it will never change but we are beginning to notice a pivot, and in conversations with other organizations, they are also.

Lastly, as you know we are collaborating with the Alliance for Constitutional Sexual Offense Laws (ACSOL) to make our presence known in the beltway in 2023. Janice is planning a vigil on the steps of the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) to bring awareness to the anniversary of the Smith v Doe decision based on an advertisement in a Psychology Today article in1982 which was merely implying the recidivism rate could increase to 80% if people didn't take his therapy.
We asked Derek Logue of Once Fallen to work on a brochure specifically for the event. The concept is to create and distribute the brochure in D.C. which will be 100% focused on studies that undeniably proves the registry is destructive, does not keep the public safe but does harm our families.
Lastly, in January 2022 we will be asking our members and supporters to participate in various committees to be a part of this tremendous initiative.
