The New York post link above states that a Florida sex offender abducted this 11-year old girl in Escambia county. This is incorrect! The man that attempted this kidnapping is not on the Florida, nor any other state, registry!

Because it was an attempt to kidnap a minor, the news automatically assumes that the man must be a sex offender!!
