This talk will describe our approach to the treatment of convicted male sexual offenders and the long-term sexual reoffending outcome. We take an evidence- and strengths-based approach to treatment that is informed by Risk/Needs/Responsivity, Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, and the Good Lives Model. We reject the negative and deficit focus of earlier approaches, particularly the Relapse Prevention Model.
